David Lam - Founder & Visionary

David Lam has been building things from the ground up his entire life — long before he founded Meiga Development. Born in Saigon in 1964, he taught himself multiple languages, survived eight escape attempts from Vietnam, and arrived in Calgary in the winter of 1985 with little more than determination. Over the next two decades, he went from washing dishes on Electric Avenue to designing and building some of Calgary's most recognized commercial and hospitality spaces. With over 20 years in the industry, David brings a perspective no classroom can teach. Get in touch — it's a story worth hearing in person.

Steven Ho - Lead Architect / Knows the Code 

When you need it drawn, designed, and done right, Steven is your person. With licensure to practice architecture in both Canada and the United States, Steven brings a breadth of experience that spans churches, condos, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and everything in between. He's seen nearly every project type imaginable — and has the drawings to prove it. Beyond his professional work, Steven is an active voice in preserving Calgary's Chinatown and regularly takes on pro bono projects close to his heart. The kind of architect who cares just as much about the community as the blueprints.

Calvin Lam - Interior Design / Architectural Drafter / 3D Rendering / Project Manager

Growing up as the son of Meiga's founder, Calvin didn't just inherit the family name; he inherited the work ethic. Raised watching buildings take shape from blueprint to grand opening, Calvin developed a rare versatility that's hard to teach: he can draft it, render it, design it, and manage it. If something needs to get done on a project, Calvin will find a way to get it done. Equal parts creative eye and practical problem solver, he's the person you call when you're not sure who else to call.

Andrew Ng - Drafting / Design / Dimension

Andrew has spent years mastering the precision craft of architectural drafting and 3D modeling, and it shows in every project he touches. Whether it's a detailed AutoCAD floor plan or a polished SketchUp model, Andrew brings accuracy and care to every line he draws. Outside of work, he channels that same appreciation for fine engineering into his other passion — cars. Don't be surprised if he knows more about your vehicle than your mechanic does. Easy to work with and always ready to help, Andrew is the quiet backbone behind many of Meiga's designs.

Raymond Luu - Administrative / Operations Coordinator

Raymond serves as the operational backbone of Meiga Development, overseeing the administrative functions that keep the business running smoothly. From invoicing and quotations to expense tracking and operational support. Detail-oriented and dependable, he brings a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement to everything he takes on. Outside of work, Raymond can usually be found out on a trail in the Rockies, with another hike already in the plans.
